Outdoor Service Guidelines

IN-PERSON WORSHIP

We will be hosting one outdoor service beginning on October 4th at 10:30am. While meeting as we did prior to the COVID-19 pandemic is not possible, we still want to create an opportunity to worship in community as a church family in a safe way.

ARRIVAL

Please park in the Austin Achieve parking lot. Then you will enter through the black gate with the signs near the basketball court. All members of your household over the age of 6 must be wearing a face-mask in order to enter. If you do not have one, we will have one available. After entering the black gate, you will be greeted by a staff member near the amphitheater, and allowed to grab a sticker, communion set, and allowed to sit with your family. We ask that you practice social distancing and stay within six-feet of others. **Lawn chairs are allowed.

FACE COVERINGS

Face-Masks must be worn by all adults and children (age 6 and up). During worship, prayer, announcements, and the sermon, the leaders and staff will not be masked.

STICKERS

Before entering the amphitheater, you will have the choice of wearing a red, yellow, or green sticker. The red sticker will indicate you do not want any physical interaction, the yellow sticker will indicate you are okay with elbow bumps, and the green sticker will indicate you are okay with high fives and hugs.

COMMUNION

After receiving the sticker of your choosing, a staff member will grab a communion set to hold until we take communion together as a church family toward the end of service.

HAND SANITIZER

We will have hand sanitizer dispensers available at the entrance before entering the amphitheater.

RESTROOMS

We ask that you and/or your family please go to the restroom at home before the service. During the service, if you absolutely need to use the restroom, please let a staff member or greeter know and they will guide you to the restroom. **Not the main building**

OFFERING

An offering plate will be placed on the tables near the entrance to drop off cash and/or check while you leave after service. Online giving will continue at hopeccatx.com/give. You can also mail a check to PO BOX 141962 Austin, Texas 78714.

SICKNESS IN YOUR HOUSEHOLD

Please take your temperature Sunday morning before coming. We ask that anyone with a temperature above 100 degrees, experiencing any symptoms of illness in the past 48 hours, or recently in contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19 remain at home and worship with us on Facebook or YouTube. If you develop COVID-19 symptoms up to 72 hours after attending an outdoor service please let us know by emailing hello@hopeccatx.com.

DISMISSAL

When we dismiss the service feel free to speak and fellowship, but when you leave out the black gate near the entrance, please maintain social distancing.

CHILDREN’S MINISTRY

We will Not be offering Nursery/Children’s Ministry: Children should remain in the care of those in their household and not interact with children of other families. Consider bringing items for your child/children to look at quietly during service.

In the case of inclement weather, we will send out a text to the Hope GroupMe and also a church wide email.
